Looking over at Martha made me feel even sadder because she was at an age where I had been everyone's favourite back at home. An age where I was not allowed to raise a finger in order to reserve all of my strength for shifting into the ultimately powerful wolf that I was supposed to shift into. I was really going to be getting married to the coldest, most brutal Alpha King known or ever spoken of. I remembered being younger and reading a novel about the brutality of the Alpha King, who was a Prince back then because his father was still alive. During his fencing training, he insisted on the use of real swords, and always slaughtered his adversary. After my talk with Martha, I paid a visit to the Alpha King's room. In order to help Martha and her sister Celine, I was going to have to ask for a huge favour from him. I knocked on his room, listening as my knock echoed on the inside of his large suite. There was no response, so I knocked again. The drive to the Academy was so long that I fell asleep and woke up over four times. Martha made sure to attend to all my needs, and make sure that I was well fed on the foods listed on the list permissible foods for the course. The building Glenn pulled me to, seemed to be one of those old buildings that were built in the early 1900’s but redesigned to stay in tune with the current structural trends for houses. It had two floors with four storeys, each with two windows. A small balcony stood near the front door. There were several large wooden benches sitting near the edge of the porch. In the center of the building sat an outdoor fountain. We approached it as soon as we reached the sidewalk, Glenn, Mila, Martha and I, all looking over our shoulders to make sure that no one was behind us. This part of the campus seemed usually deserted.
