I can only whisper his name as my emotions become a whirlwind. I see his handsome face getting blurry as my eyes welcome fresh set of tears.

"Rain."

My name comes out his mouth like the music from the bard of heaven. It pulled every single string in my heart and reached my soul.

I feel his thumbs wiping my tears and I let myself lean into his touch. For several moments, none of us say a word and only feel other other through the medium of silence.

"How are you feeling?" I decide to break the silence by asking about his health.

He retreats his hand from my cheek. I feel sudden coldness overtaking the warmth his touch provided.

"I want to get out of here. This hospital smell, it's more sickening." He says with a disgusted look on his face.

A smile stretches on my lips,"I can hardly smell anything here, Mr. Blackwood. So, stop making excuses. You have to stay here until the doctors give you permission to go back home." I say.
