Chapter Forty - Two
Biting Your Tongue:
Jace walked around to her side of the car opening her car door and holding his hand out for her. Small smile flashed across her face as she took his hand and got out of the car. She realized where they were. This was the same place Jace had taken her where she got the other wolf book. Nora looked at him as she got out of the car wondering how the book keeper was going to help them.
"Come on." Jace said, ignoring the look.
He grabbed a hold of her hand and they walked into the book store. Walking in the bell ding and the man behind the counter came out. His face at first was very pleasant but seeing Jace it changed to nervousness.
"Mr. Knight, have you come to return the books you borrowed?" He asked, trying to be brave.

Damage:Nora pulled the car up to the hospital. She didn't even turn off the engine as she rounded the car to the passenger side door. Opening it she was prepared to carry Dante into the hospital on her own if she had to. Reaching in and pulling him into her chest. She felt a hand on her shoulder.“Miss, let us help, Wyatt told us you were on the way.” a young man said to another standing behind him.Nora nodded, stepping out of the way. They pulled the stretcher up to the car and carefully loaded Dante onto it. Nora's stomach was in knots as she watched them wheel Dante in.“You can follow us, miss. Mine:Jace left Dylan’s feeling completely drained. It was brutal Dylan had not been in the training long with Matt, Matt would have shown him how to be a great warrior and leader. He was young and it killed him to see his father and mother like that. Jace told them that he died doing his duty and defending the pack. That if it wasn't for Dylan more deaths would have happened. It was the complete truth and Jace felt it in his chest. He wished he would have been there, maybe he could have saved Dylan.
