Vivienne
I excitedly opened the envelope with my salary. Those who were working part-time like me, get their salary over-the-counter. Only those who were regular employees have bank account cards and were paid every fifteenth and last working day every month.
But I frowned as I counted the money from my envelope.
“W-What is this?” I murmured as I counted it for the second and third times. It really doubled my supposed salary.
“Huh? Is there any problem, Vivienne?” Aria asked as she approached me. Maybe she heard what I just said.
I turned to Aria and showed her all the money in my hands. “Look at this, Aria. Maybe they gave me the wrong envelope.”
“Really?” Aria got curious as well. “Look for the name on the back of the envelope.”
I followed her ins
Vivienne “I’m still sleepy…” I yawned and put down the book I am trying to read.I am alone in the classroom. Sheena invited me to dine with her at their family restaurant but I declined. Aside from the fact that I need to finish these books, I am also saving up. I wanted to buy a new scooter. I think using my old one wasn’t wise. It’s always in the auto repair shop. Since I have a salary increase, I surely can save for a new one. But for the meantime, I'll endure the old thing.I sighed and started to read again. Someone took the other book and sat above my table.“What are these? Are you trying to kill yourself?”I raised an eyebrow. “How can reading books kill one's self?”Raylie flipped the pages. He doesn’t seem interested in the book. He was ju
Vivienne“Look over there. He was at the shading area.” Aria keeps nagging me.“Come on, Aria. Let’s not talk about him. We might get scolded.”“Just look over there. Look. He was so handsome!”“Nah! Whatever.”“He was looking in our direction.”“Because we were chatting while working. Do you want him to take back our salary increase?” I hissed at her.I am actually worried that the new boss might do it for real. Brats tend to do things against something they do not like.“Nah.” Aria sighed and shut her mouth.Soon, I heard the production manager call out for me.“Come over here for a while, Vivienne.”I turned to the shading a
RaylieUntil three in the morning? Was she trying to kill herself? How in the world will she ever get rest?I am sitting on the swivel chair, in front of my office table. I was trying to figure out things. Mr. Dawnson was in his office too, dealing with some matters. He said he'll be off by twelve so I must leave too.But I just can’t leave if Vivienne was going to work until three in the morning.Someone knocked at my office.“Come in.” I said lazily.A server came with a tray of coffee and a sandwich.“Mr. Dawnson told me to deliver it to you, young master.”I just nodded and continued to do what I was doing.“Is there anything you want, young master?” She politely asked.“Nothing.”
VivienneThe bell rang at twelve midnight. The workers turned off the lights and find spots to sleep.“Come over here, Vivienne. I saw a nice spot for us.” I heard Aria called out.“Okay, I am coming.” I answered and turned to Raylie. I was about to ask him what his plans were but I heard the speakers from the production area turned on.“Paging Raylie, come over the office.” Mr. Dawnson's voice was all over the production area.I turned my back and started walking towards Aria. What am I thinking? Raylie can do whatever he wants. Why should I worry about him, though? He is the boss. He'll definitely lie comfortably at his office or drive back home already.I hadn't taken a few steps when Raylie grabbed my arm.“Come with me.” He firmly said.
VivienneI got up off the bank as I yawned. It was still dark. Is the breaktime still not yet over? But I felt like I already slept a lot. I yawned and lied back to the soft and comfortable inclined office chair. I pulled the warm blanket up to my shoulder and…Wait! My eyes suddenly grew wide.Office chair… I am still at the office and I fell asleep!Oh my God! What am I going to do?!I hurriedly stood up and went to the panel wall. From there, I can see the production area.“Damn it! What am I going to do! I'm already late!”The employees at the production area were already busy doing their job and I was here, lying comfortably.“What is it? Why are you cursing when there’s still someone sleeping here?” I heard Raylie yawn.&n
VivienneI turned to my back while the professor was discussing our lesson. Raylie was still asleep on his table. The professor didn’t mind, of course. It was Raylie. The bulliest among all the bullies.I sighed. He must not have slept well. He drives me home before driving back to his house. How else would he ever get the chance to sleep?Until the class ended, Raylie was still sleeping.“What is this punk doing all night that he was sleeping in the class, first thing in the morning?” I heard Loki.“Nah! Maybe he stayed up late, playing online games.”“Seriously?! Ugh!”
VivienneI got up as the room started to get noisy. It seemed my classmates were done having their snacks. I yawned and crumpled my eyes when I noticed something on my table. It’s a hotdog sandwich and a juice drink. I turned around. It seems everybody was busy with their own business while waiting for the next class. I turned to Sheena.“Are these, yours?” I asked her, pointing to the food.“Huh?” Sheena frowned her forehead. “I thought it’s yours. It was already there when I entered the classroom.” She said and continued reading.“Ugh.” I looked around. The Titans weren’t here, yet. And no one seems suspicious. I can’t guess who left the food here
Vivienne“It’s cold. Why didn’t you dress warmly?”I looked back and saw Thore. I was on my way to work but my line leader phoned me not to come since they don’t need a lot of workers tonight. The rushed work will be done by eight so the day shift has to finish. The delivery of the other garments will arrive by two in the morning. That means the night shift can start working at four.I smiled at Thore. “Hey! Why are you out here?”Thore approached me. I was surprised he took off his scarf and put it on me.“There.” He said as he fixed the scarf. I could only whisper my thanks to him. “Well, I should be asking you the same question. Why were you out here? It’s cold outside.”I looked around. “I was about to buy something.”
