Thore turned to me in surprise. “Hey, dude! You’re here!”
“Yeah!” I coldly answered.
Just how long are they doing this behind my back?
“Have some! It’s really delicious. Vivienne knew a lot of delicious food here.” Thore enthusiastically said and turned to the vendor. “Sir, give him one order.”
“Yes.” The vendor answered and handed me one.
“Whoa! Look at you. Are you really going to eat it? I hope you will not get an upset stomach. You know, the rich kids didn’t go for cheap food as we had.” Vivienne sounds so teasing.
I darkened my face. “What do you take me for? Am I not human to you?” I barked.
“Come on, Railey. She was just teasing.” Thore coaxed
VivienneEverybody in the class was busy talking about the Winter break. Raylie and Thore weren't in the classroom. Only the twins were there and arguing about their vacation destination, just like the other students.“What about you, Vivienne?” Sheena asked me. “Where are you going to spend your winter vacation? It will be just two weeks, so I think you’ll not fly that far.”I tossed my head on the side. “Come on, I don’t even have the money to get a fancy vacation. You know that I am in an economical group. I am the lowest in the hierarchy.”Sheena frowned her forehead. “Come on. Is that a family secret? Are you and your family flying somewhere? Gosh! I am so jealous. We were just going to my Mom’s native town. Ugh! That was so boring. I have to bear with the cows and other farm animals.”
VivienneI was on my way to the exit gate when someone from the back called out for me.“Hey, Thore!” I smiled at him.“Are you going home?”I shrugged. “Where else?”“Oh then, I guess you don’t have your scooter today.”I sighed. “Yeah. The old thing decided to retired early. I haven’t saved for a new one.”I continued walking.“You haven’t saved?” He frowned his forehead, confused. “What do you mean? Why don’t you ask your parents to buy you a new one?”“Nah!” I laughed and shook my head. This guy really doesn't have any clue. “I’m simply not like you who can just ask my parents to give me this and that. If I need something, I need to work har
VivienneAt work…“Paging Ms. Vivienne Alfonso. Please come to the office.”I frowned and turned to Aria who’s beside me.“What was that now? Why am I being called?” I asked in confusion.“I don’t know either.”“Vivienne, you are being called by the production supervisor.” Mrs. Johnson said, our line leader.I nodded and went to the office. I have this feeling that it was Raylie who’s behind this, again.“What is it, Sir?” I politely asked the production supervisor.“Oh! The young master called for you. I am off.” He said and left the office.I sighed in desperation. What is it this time? I went to the top floor and knocked at the office. Raylie greet
Raylie“Where is she? The gate is going to close any moment.” I hissed under my breath as I waited for Vivienne to come.I stopped my car on the side of the street. I decided not to drive inside until Vivienne came. I knew it! She’ll be late today since she worked until dawn. I glanced at the mirror and I saw Vivienne running forward. I smiled and started my engine. The gate was about to close so I drove forward. I purposely stopped my car in the middle of the entrance. It would stop the guards from closing it.Someone knocked on my car window. I opened it. The guard gasped in surprise.“Oh! Young master. Is there any problem?”“Yeah. This thing suddenly stopped.” I coldly said and glanced at the side mirror again.Vivienne was near the gate.“Would you like me t
VivienneI felt thirsty all the way out. It’s not that easy to tell it all to their faces.Alright. I know I am being ungrateful here. Thore didn’t do anything bad to me. He used to be kind and gentle. Although Raylie once had been mean to me, I noticed he had changed these days. But, just like what I said, I wanted a peaceful life. And being with them doesn’t mean I am going to have what I wanted.I am on the way to a corner table after getting my food tray. But Szane just got in the way. To my surprise she took the bottle of soda and sprinkled it on me. I could only gasp in surprise.“Miserable life, huh?” Szane sneered. “How dare you say that to the boys?”“She actually thought of herself as so high and mighty.“What a bitch!”“Hey, girls! Listen u
Vivienne I tried hard not to sob. Crying would not solve anything. I should not waste my tears over nonsense. That’s what I keep telling myself while cleaning all the mess in my uniform. But my tear glands betrayed me. Pearls of tears rolled down my cheeks. I keep wiping them with the back of my hand but they would just keep bursting. I sighed. I was about to go to the locker room but my phone rang. My Mom was calling. Ugh! Why did she choose this time to call? I took a deep breath and gathered myself altogether. “Hi, Mom?” I tried to sound enthusiastic. “Hey. I think I couldn’t come home this weekend. My work schedule was so tight I couldn't get a rest day. But it’s worth it. I've got a tripled payment during my supposed rest day—” She kept talking and I j
Vivienne “It’s not your fault that two of the Titans were into you. Those bitches were just jealous. They don’t have the charm that you had. Ugh!” Sheena irritatingly sighed. “Why don’t you just play along with Raylie and Thore and let those bitches get eaten by their insecurities? They can all die in jealousy.” “Nah! Sheena, don't say that, okay? Don’t get mad, anymore.” I tried to coax her. We are heading out of the building just right after our last class. The club President told us we can go straight home after class since there’s nothing much to do in the club room. “How can I not get mad? They keep bullying you. How dare they throw those foods at you?” I sighed. “I am fine already. Thanks for lending me your uniform. I don’t know if I can still fix the stains in my uniform but I hope color bleach will do the magic.” “U
VivienneThe winter break started. I should be happy that I could work full-time for two weeks. And I could rest from the stress in school. So, I don’t know why I became restless. Is it because Raylie started to keep his distance from me. I should be grateful for it, right? That’s what I want?So why don't I feel happy at all?I sighed and started moving.“I'm coming to work, Vianna. Be good while I am not home.” I said aloud while heading out. Vianna was on the countertop, preparing her cereals.“Nah! You sound like Mom.” She chuckled.“It’s the start of the vacation and you are all alone here.”Vianna smiled. “Don’t worry about me. I will call you if something happens. But if I didn’t call you, then it means I am having fun.”&nbs
