Vivienne
It was our last night here and everybody agreed to have a campfire in the front yard. It wasn’t snowing so it’s perfect for a campfire.
We are all gathered around while drinking and having fun. I felt a bit tipsy. They kept pouring me drinks even though I declined. I mean, I never drink. It’s my first time. I wonder how they bought the liquor. But there’s nothing impossible for the Titans, isn’t it?
“Come on, Vivienne. It’s the first time you joined us, so please don’t decline.” Travis urged me. He was the one who poured drinks for us and did the bartending. “If you keep declining, we're going to think that you were declining the friendship with us too. Are you?” Travis sounded like he was putting me in the spotlight.
I was embarrassed to decline. It was the start of building a friendship with the
RaylieThe first person I looked for after waking up was Vivienne. Where is she?I ran towards her room and found out that they were packing their things already.Ah! I forgot it’s the day I should send them back to L City.“Oh! You’re awake!” Vivienne exclaimed and smiled.I frowned. Is it the right reaction? Is she not even worried? I remembered I took a glass with a drug on it. I collapsed in the middle of the dark. She wasn’t even worried about me?“We’re going back now, aren’t we? Are you going to come or will you stay here at the villa?” Vivienne keeps asking.I would like to ask if he was not even worried about me. But my pride would not let me.Why is she calm and composed? She doesn’t even care about me?&nbs
Raylie“Do you want me to fire you all?” I hissed and threatened all the servants and even Butler Lewis. They were all lined up in front of me. I asked them to go home today and come back after Christmas day. But they refused to do so. They insisted on working even on Christmas day. I've gotten tired of this every Christmas season.“Young Master, you already sent us home last Christmas and you said you will not send us this year. We can’t do this to you. We can't leave you alone, here. It was sad.”“Jeez!”I hated it when they kept insisting on working. They were no different from my family. Their work and the business always comes first. Well, at least Chloe made time to celebrate the occasion. The only thing is, she used to come home late. Nevertheless, at least she made time. It makes me feel like Chloe was
Raylie It’s quarter to twelve in the evening when the clocks rang at once. I yawned and got up from the bed. I went downstairs to check what’s in the kitchen. I’m famished. I ran off the nanny bot and the recorded voice went up. “Hello, Young Master! What can I do for you?” I smirked and went straight to the kitchen. At least the servants prepared what I needed ahead of time. I preheated the chicken casserole. As I waited, I remembered Vivienne’s gift. I checked for the time, it’s almost midnight. I hurriedly went up to my room and took the gift. I brought it at the kitchen counter top. “I guess it would not be bad if I opened it already.” I told myself and opened the box. It’s a blue mug. I took it out of the box. “What is this? Did she make me wait
Vivienne At work. I was summoned to the office again. This time, I gladly went to Raylie’s office. I was so excited to talk to him. “What can I do for you, young master?” I asked, teasing him. Raylie chuckled. “You seemed to have a good day today, huh?” “Well, it’s because we had a great day yesterday. We might not have the fancy celebration, but we still enjoy it.” I said and checked on the surroundings. I saw the books scattered around the corner. I went there. It must be the reason why he summoned me. Geez, he used to make me do the cleaning in his office when he had the cleaning personnel. “Leave it be. There’s someone who was going to arrange those books.” “Huh?” I frowned. “Then, why did you summon me here?” “I just wanted to see you.” Ray
Raylie I gritted my teeth upon watching the three, storming away. Who was that guy? I frequently saw him hanging out with Vivienne and that girl named Aria. What is his motive in clinging to the girls? Ugh! “And he even gave her a gift?” I groaned annoyingly. It seems Vivienne was so delighted upon seeing what’s inside the box. A paperback. I couldn't handle my irritation, I went back to my office and phoned Chloe. Yeah! I haven’t given Vivienne a gift, because I still don’t know what to give her. Now that I heard she loves paperbacks, I know who to consult. “What is it, you jerk?!” Chloe hissed from the other line. “I am in the middle of a meeting so make it quick.” “Gosh! Why are you so cranky, my adorable sis?” I teased her. I even made my voice sound sweet
Vivienne“Gosh! She’s so cute.” I exclaimed as I watched Vivienne under the tree. She was probably reading one of the paperbacks I sent her.I propped my chin with my hands as I watched her up here at the library's balcony. The winter break ended and we were back to school again. I was just happy that I could be with Vivienne, twenty-four seven. At school and at work.“What are you doing here, Raylie?”“So, atlast you are tired of looking at your mug.”“He’s been crazy over that mug.”The three idiots came together on the balcony. Why do these jerks love to ruin my day?Tss.“I’ve been crazy with my pillow too. Vivienne was really sweet.” I heard Thore said.I clenched my jaw a
Thore“Good afternoon, Young Master.”I just nodded at the crew who greeted me upon entering Mix and Match Café. I continued to the office and checked for some paperworks. Ms. Benson—my store manager—was there too.“How was the sales today?”The café was just new and after a long long time of pursuing my parents, they let me put up my own business. Being the Young Master of the Davis family, it is natural for my parents to expect that I will be the one to rule our business. But still, I wanted to start on my own. I want to challenge myself if I am able to manage a small business.“Our Mix and Match section was a big hit, Young Master. It's what the customers were looking for.” Ms. Benson excitedly informed me.“That was great.” I sat on my office chair and checke
ThoreI thoroughly checked the application form in my hand. I still couldn’t believe that the application form was filled up by Vivienne Alfonso. The Vivienne I know. If I accepted her in the café, then, that means I need to pretend that I am not the boss. Or, I must not visit the store frequently. Then, how am I going to do my job here? How am I going to manage my business properly and efficiently? But then, if I didn’t accept her, I would definitely feel guilty. She badly wants the job. And I can do something to help her, so why not help her?I sighed desperately.“Right. Let’s help her.” I told myself and put my stamp on the lower part of the application form. I called out for Ms. Benson and the store manager hurried to my office.“Yes, young master?”I handed her the application forms
