I nervously followed Jena to the kitchen while she looked fazed and disturbed. I guess, to a human the sudden feeling of powerful attraction might be a bit unnerving. But, I wouldn’t really know since I’m not a full-fledged human, nor was I raised like one.

“Are you alright?” I asked her in a nervous low tone.

“His eyes,” She stopped by the chair and placed her hand on its back for support, “His eyes flashed brighter…” She seemed lost in her thoughts and memory as if trying to make sense of what she saw but trying to make sense of supernatural things only makes it worse, “You,” She turned to me, “You saw that, didn’t you?!” Raising her index finger in my direction she asked me
