As I step into the cozy little restaurant, I feel a mix of hunger and nervousness. In the end, I agreed to come with him but isn’t dinner with your teacher at a fancy restaurant weird? Or am I overthinking it? I looked around at the interior, I wasn’t expecting him to bring me to such a nice place.
It’s not entirely appropriate, but I didn’t get to dwell on it much because as soon as the food arrived, another loud growl escaped my stomach.
Mister Koen pursed his lips together to stop himself from laughing while I felt utterly and completely embarrassed. It’s all because the food tastes and smells so good!!! The hot steam leaving the food, the way it was presented on the plate. Everything was at fault!!
