Chapter 5

Irina, it's been a long time, it's been more than three years since you came back with a glorious victory, this older sister of mine has matured a lot, her hands have had many calluses due to hard work day and night.  Sword practice.

From the year I was fourteen she and some people in the uprising organized, within three years she and everyone won a part of the southern territory.

I have never participate with her, but from the words of the seniors who fought together what I saw.  She is a silver war god, a talented swordsman; speed comparable to the wind; she has a heart of a painters; a keen mind.

One thing that everyone knows for sure is that she is the goddess of prophecy.

The one who saved my life even though she didn't know me at all!  I love her as a sister.

After three days back, as usual before she leaves, I will spend some time making some sour candy for her.  Irina really likes this kind of candy, she once said: “The candy you make is my favorite, so it can only be made for me.”

Sometimes, when you think about it, time really flies.

That new sister Irina was twenty-five years old, and Dai and I were also seventeen.  Occasionally I envy Dai, he is allowed to participate with Irina and me, it's not that I hate my role, I just feel fragile.

My lips are on the tea bag, sipping every sip.  After drinking this tea as usual, I will go to practice.

I sat dumbfounded, the brief flashback replaying once more.

I woke up in a strange place.  This is not my house, the wooden house is moldy, every time the magician makes it rain, this house always leaks.  Occasionally, there will be a few mice roaming around in the kitchen.

I remember the smell of fire smoke from the small kitchen, the smell of my father's sweat, the peaceful days of my family and everyone.

I don't know how much time has passed since I woke up in this institution.

“Where's your mother? Where is she? What about your father? Have you seen them?”

I ran around, running around hoping to see my parents, I cried, I ran and cried.  I…I can't accept, once again I lost my family again.  Furthermore, I still ask why?  Why?  Why?  Did I do something wrong to anyone?  Why keep stealing my loved ones.

“Lowa, don't be afraid now everyone in this organization is your family. We'll work together, will you join? Let's kill all the werewolves together.” — Irina is a gentle person, always taking care of us with kindness, and a very rational person.  I love you, a wonderful older sister, she always has ways to teach us to be in order,, but there is no pressure at all.

Only, is it okay to kill all the werewolves like that?  My mother is a werewolf, she has lived with humans for many years, she has never harmed anyone.  Will there still be werewolves like my mother?

I told the story about my mother to Irina.

" Iowa, I really don't want to hug a number of werewolves and call them ugly. Think about it, werewolves have killed so many of our countrymen! Better to kill mistakenly than to miss. Do you understand? "

 “Yes.”

Is this option the right choice?

“Lowa, are you still practicing at this late?” — I know this person, his voice is already familiar to me.

I put the wooden sword on my shoulder, a little proud.

“You should work hard, Dai, and otherwise you'll be responsible for all the dishes.”

The blond guy came over and patted my head.  He's really mature and manly, we're the same age, but he's taller than I.  It's true that life is not good, so I have to try three times, six times more.  I want to avoid being a burden to anyone, at least to protect myself.

Dai approached the wooden sword rack, he took out a sword, with his inherent talent he confidently challenged me to a duel.

Of course, I agree even though I know the outcome is that I will lose.  This time, too, the sword in my hand was stolen by him.  I can only sigh disappointed at myself.  I have to work harder.

“You've made that progress, this time it took me ten seconds to beat you.”

“Oh, come on! Don't say things like that, losing is still losing.”

The blonde looked at me, expressionless.  After a few short seconds, he looked at me with a comical expression, what's with this expression Dai.

“Hey, don't look at me like that.”

He didn't respond to my words but hit my back, it didn't hurt.  Really, his impact on me didn't hurt more than this was an action he usually used to comfort me.

“Don't think like that. If you try, you will succeed.”

 “Um, thank you.”

Dai stayed for more than an hour to practice with me, I still had to practice after he returned to his room.

We are both the same age, practicing swords and magic at the same time, the same number of times on missions, but I'm still stuck in the same place, can only do rescue missions, can't fight, fight together.  Fight for territory with sister Irina.

“You're the only one doing this quest, aren't you? Usually, there's Layla and Lana?”

The pink-haired person in front of me is Yana, a beautiful middle-aged woman, an excellent bartender, coming here before departure as a quest has become a habit.  I typically get nervous before doing a certain task, a glass of Magic from Yana helps ease my anxiety somewhat.

“Those two were allowed to join the battle with Irina-san's group two weeks ago.”

“No wonder I haven't seen them lately. Iowa also doesn't worry, you'll be able to join the war eventually.”

Yana has always been like that, always encouraging me and those challenged.  Angel Yana, I love you.  Wish to be your number one fan.

After drinking, I went back to my room to sleep.

Stepping through the teleport gate, this way I will reach the location that is sector five to the north quickly.  It wasn't quite morning yet, I went to bed for an hour, actually slept for an hour and a half, it was difficult to wake up at this hour; in the early years, I often had difficulty staying awake.

The gate brought me into sector five, in a protective membrane; people have gathered in one place, almost every object is always twenty households.  From a distance, a little girl, with a purple cape and a pointed hat, ran up to me.

“I've gathered everyone. What should I do next?”

 I said, very seriously.

 “…”

“Are you sure it's okay?” — She was skeptical and worried, but she did not hesitate to do as I said.

I went to where people were waiting with loads of luggage.  I attempted to recite the incantation while the protective film crumbled according to the breath, the young mage girl was very talented and agile.

While I was busy casting spells, she created a number of people out of the earth with her wonderful spell.

When the earthlings finally matured, I teleported the people back to the organization and the mage girl.
