She wouldn't betray me. She just wouldn't. I knew it. Cheating wasn't her character. If she didn't like it, she would make it known. I knew that there must be some hidden reason for her to agree to go to Sapphire Moon. Nonetheless, it hurt like crazy.

Akela wouldn't stop howling painfully in my head. Our mate was the only one in our lives and hearing that she would meet her ex-mate was agonising. Moreover, I would have to accompany her on that trip. I didn't know how I was going to deal with it. I just hoped that Akela wouldn't break free and do something stupid.
