Chapter 2- Alina's POV

"Open your eyes my child." I heard a female voice.

As I opened my eyes and looked around, it was some unknown place. And then I remembered about my baby. As I looked down on my belly, my baby bump was gone.

"My baby! Where is my baby? Why am I here? What place is it.?" I asked the lady.

I couldn't hold my tears at the thought of losing my baby.

"You and your baby have died. This is the world of souls. " That lady said.

"Died? What nonsense are you saying? My baby can't die. Who are you? Why are you saying ridiculous stuff?" I shouted at her.

"She is your mother, my princess. '' a voice came from behind. I need not turn around to tell who it is. I've been dying to hear this voice again.

"Dad," I whispered as fresh tears formed in my eyes. I ran to him and hugged him tightly as if my life depends on that hug.

"I missed you so much dad. Why did you leave me? You know after you left Lucas and Natasha, they killed your grandchild . I couldn't protect my baby. I couldn't protect you. I'm sorry dad." I said.

"I know everything about my baby. I know how much my poor child has suffered because of those devils." He replied.

"All hugs for dad, nothing for mom?" The lady said.

"Dad, what is she talking about?" I asked him.

"Alina, she is your mother. You always used to say that you miss your mother and want to see her. But I always kept all her pictures away from you, thinking that those pictures will remind you of her again and again." Dad said.

Mom came forward and kissed my temple.

"My child, I always wanted to see you and your father again but never thought to see you both like this. Mom is really sorry to leave you that early baby." She said with teary eyes.

I hugged them both. I'm happy to see my parents again. " Mom, I don't want this to end like this. I want them to suffer. I want to punish them for hurting my child." I said.

"I know my child. I feel the same. I can send you back to the world. " She said.

"Then, can the three of us go back?" I asked curiously.

"No baby, only you will go. Promise me you will not let them succeed this time." She said and I promised her.

Next moment I found myself in a room, dressed like a bride. I was confused why I was dressed in a bridal gown. I picked my phone from the dressing table and checked the date . It was 30th October, 2021. It was the day when I got married to Lucas 2 years ago. Does that mean I travelled to the past?

I walked out to see if it's really my wedding day or I'm just assuming things. It still feels like a dream.

As I walked out, I saw Lucas and Natasha were making out in a corner. They were always doing this behind my back but I was dumb enough to see their real face.

I took my phone and clicked some pictures and recorded it as well. Then I went back to my place and sat on the chair.

I remember this day was so special for me. I was so excited to get married to my love.

Never expected that he was dating my best friend behind my back. I can't even consider her friend anymore. My only friend is Natalie.

As I was lost in the trail of my thoughts, Natalie and Natasha came inside.

"Seems like someone can't wait to get married to her lover." Natalie teased me and Natasha just smiled. I'm sure it's a fake one. I pretended to blush at her comment .

'Lover, my foot. Only if I could tell you what that so-called lover has done to me in future.'

I thought to myself.

"Are you excited for your first night, Alina? I've bought you pairs of sexy lingerie for a hot and steamy night. You can thank me later." Natalie winked at me and I could see Natasha clenching her jaw and shooting me daggers.

How could I never notice her hatred toward me before?

"Sure Natalie, I'll enjoy the night with my love." I said just to annoy Natasha even more.

'Hell no, I would just end up pucking at the sight of that man.' I thought to myself.

"Are you missing your dad?" She asked.

"Yes," I said honestly. Last time too I missed him a lot on this day.

"Don't be upset Alina, your father must be watching you from heaven. " Natasha said in a comforting tone.

I want to beat this bitch till death. She killed my father now acting all concerned.

"Let's go Alina, my dad will walk you down the Aisle. " Natalie said.

You guys can leave first and I'm thankful for your dad to be that thoughtful about me, but I'll walk down the Aisle alone.

After that I pushed them out of the room as an idea popped in my head and I smirked at my thought.

'Just wait for it Natasha and Lucas. I'm back to take my revenge. Today I'll take the first step to my revenge.'

As I walked down the Aisle, all eyes were looking at me in shock. And Lucas's face went pale. Walking down this aisle last time felt like the best thing of my life and today it feels the same because I'm on the path to my revenge.

I stood beside Lucas and he whispered to me, " What is all this Alina? This is so embarrassing. Why are you wearing a black gown?"

"Chill, honey. I wanted to do something different from others." I said while trying my best to hold back my laughter because of the expression on his and Natasha's face.

"Let's start the ceremony. " the priest said.

Lucas held my hands and smiled sweetly. At the time I was so whipped for this smile but now a smile is the last thing I would ever want to see on his face.

"Lucas Marshall, Do you take Alina Martin for your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" Priest asked.

"Yes, I do." Lucas said.

"Alina Martin, do you take Lucas Marshall for your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" Priest asked me.

"No, I don't. " I said.

Everyone started talking and whispering about it. Lucas and Natasha seemed frustrated.

"What are you doing Alina?" Natasha asked me.

"I should be the one asking you Natasha, what were you doing with my fiance? " I asked and she looked confused.

I took out my phone and played the video of them making out to everyone.

"This is not real Alina." Lucas tried to convince me and I slapped him.

"Shut the fuck up. I've seen it with my own eyes. I know everything about your drama. She is your girlfriend but you are marrying me only for wealth. " I shouted at him.

"And one more thing. You are kicked out of the company. I've sent this video to the board of directors as well. We have decided to remove you from the position of CEO." I told him.

The Color of his face faded after hearing my words. " You love me Alina. You can't do this to you." He said.

"I don't love a cheater like this and this is my company, I can do whatever I want. Also I'm breaking our engagement and this wedding is called off. " I said and walked out with Natalie.

"I can't believe Alina, Lucas and Natasha could do such a thing." Natalie said as we were driving back home.

"Trust me Natalie, they are worse than you can even imagine. They killed dad." I told her and her eyes widened in shock

"What? Did they kill your father?" She asked.

"Yes, and we need to find evidence against them soon." I said.

"Don't worry Alina. I'm here for you. Let's destroy them together. " She said.

I saw some cars were following us and I sped up. "I think they sent their men to catch us." I told her.

I was trying my best to get away from them but one of the cars took over us and blocked the way ahead. I had to press break.

Within a minute our car was surrounded by those men. They forcefully pulled us out of the car.

One of them said,"Come on guys, it's time to kill her."

"What about this girl?" Another man asked while grabbing Natalie's hairs.

"We are only ordered to kill Alina and we can keep the other for having fun." A guy suggested and they all started laughing.

"Let's take them to our base and we'll kill her there." They decided.

As they were moving us into their car, a black Lamborghini was coming towards us and a guy came out of it.

I was shocked to see him again after years.

The guy started fighting with Lucas's men. Natalie was literally drooling at the sight of him fighting all those bad guys.

"Alina, isn't he your crush from your college? I forgot his name." Natalie whispered in my ears.

"Anton Rodriguez. "Those words left my mouth automatically.

"Yes, the handsome hunk Anton Rodriguez." Natalie said. I never told Natalie about how things ended between me and Anton. She has no idea about it.

"Are you fine?" Anton asked me.

"Why are you here, Anton?" I asked angrily.

"Ouch, that's not the way to thank someone. " he said sarcastically.
