An Excuse

I almost got caught but thanks to Laura. She called Rhia and saved me. Well, I knew that it was not the end, it was the beginning. Anyway, in the morning, after talking with Aaron once, I was able to reckon his character.

I was right. Aaron, this guy was too good to play with. He was rude, arrogant. Of course, I would not have cared if it was that way only with me but not with Laura. He was disrespecting her in front of us as well and that was really too much. When he extended his hand, I refused to handshake, instead,  I hugged him.

A gasp was heard. He was surprised, unable to react. I could understand all of them were surprised. But I controlled myself and patted his back. "I don't know what issues you are going through. But there is nothing between Laura and me. And yeah...." I paused and let out a soft sneer. "Respect her." With that, I turned my back against them and left the spot.

"Ryan!" Rhia kept calling and following me to the car.<
