Forty-seven

The hurt I felt intensified in double folds. How dare that man call me again? Hadn't I had enough damage to my life? After I helped him secure his job? He dared to cheat on me and still make it look like I was the fool? Unbelievable jerk.

I know I am using a lot of curse words but grandma Margaret was no longer here to reprimand me. To be truthful to you all, at this point in my life, with all the things happening, I wouldn't give any damn if she was. Because I was so frustrated and ready to end it all.

The phone stopped ringing and almost immediately, it picked up on its time again. I deliberated picking the call but decided against it immediately. I didn't need all the drama I knew would come with the call and its caller. I just wanted some sane moment to myself. Deciding on that course, I picked up the phone and switched it off.
