Silence filled between me and Ares. He was just looking at me when I saw something on the kitchen counter. Ares glanced at the thing that's keeping my gaze locked.

"That's a gift from Steve. He bought toys for Asher and Nate yesterday."

I slowly nodded. "A remote controlled helicopter?"

"Yeah. Nate loves it."

Suddenly, an idea popped up in my mind. My lips curved into a smile as I laughed. Ares looked at me with furrowed eyebrows.
