Chapter 34

Holding Amelia by her forearms, Nathan made her to look into his eyes, "The truth, love. Tell me. What's bothering you?"

Amelia kept staring into his eyes for a while considering what to say.

He shook her a little, "Amelia?"

"It's you, Nathan. Why are you being like this? It's getting too much now. Nothing is wrong. Now leave me. I am tired. I want to take some rest."

Shocked would be an underestimate for Nathan. Not even in his worst imagination, Nathan had thought, Amelia would be saying this to him.

His hold got loosening and in no moment his hands slid down to his side.

Amelia couldn't help but being harsh to hide the truth. Nathan's face flashed hurt. He stood there paused.

Being unable to take that, Amelia was about to tell him the truth but someone from afar got into her sight. She couldn't see properly the person's face but understood that they were being watched.

If she stood some moment with Nathan, she was afraid that she might fell on her knee and got asking for forgivenes
