Chapter 24 - Cont. Flashback

Gabriel wanted to hold hands with Li Yenan but Li Yenan seemed to not notice him as he ignored him outright. Li Yenan followed after his father when Li Muo already was going towards the house, obviously wanting to officially introduce Gabriel to Yan Chae, his mother.

"Don't get too close to me" was what Li Yenan said coldly towards the thin little boy that paused on his footsteps after being told off.

Gabriel had no emotional attachment towards the mother that obviously negleted him so much from birth until today that he was suddenly handed over to the stranger.

He was not that fussy because of the image he have of the mature little boy therefore even if he was obviously told off, he did not take it to heart as he even smiled back at Li Yenan.

Really silly.

Li Yenan silently thought once again before turning his back at the thin little boy and marched forward inside the house. When Li Yenan and Gabriel entered the house, just what little Li Yenan have expected for his mother reaction,
