27. Blackout

Yohan stood there like a statue for a moment, comprehending that the woman was afraid of thunder. However, he couldn't grasp how to calm the thunder that had suddenly erupted within him.

The rain began to pour, drenching them both. And when the third thunderclap resonated, everything went dark.

"Yohan..." she cried out, and Yohan held her tighter in his arms.

Resting his chin on her head, he held her tightly, his heartbeat echoing in her ears. As a familiar warmth enveloped her, Sara Owen slowly opened her eyes and gazed up at his strong, chiseled features.

"Let's go inside," he said, gripping her wrist and leading her towards the villa. However, the blackout made it impossible for them to see anything around them.

"Damn it," he muttered in frustration.
