22. After Weekend Effect

"Wow! That's a lot."

I arrived at the office and opened my cabin door only to find tons of files piling up on my office desk screaming how much work was waiting for me.

"Why!?"

To be very clear, I'm working in a big company, so of course there will be a lot of work. There is no way anyone can deny it. Also when the company is paying you so much, you have to work according to that.

I sighed and began to work on the emails first. It's my job to go through all Mr. Johnson's emails carefully and schedule meetings with the clients, if necessary. Some emails were just useless. I deleted some useless emails, kept the important ones and noted them in my notebook.

One and another half an hour later, I finally completed checking all the emails. It was such dreadful work to do. My head was feeling heavy. So, I decided to get some coffee for myself. I need this break before I start working on the files. I got up and went to the pantry.
