Jane stayed quiet, the elevator door opened, and she walked out first.

Anderson's voice came from behind, "Jane, I know you will never forget that past, but if you do this, will your mother's soul in heaven be satisfied?"

Jane halted, turned to face him, and questioned, "Can the deceased really witness the living world?"

Anderson remained silent as there was no answer.
