Damien carefully cradled an ice pack near Jane's face.

Jane couldn't help but cry out in pain.

"Is it hurting?" Damien furrowed his brows.

"No," Jane muttered.

"Just get accustomed to it." Damien continued to apply the ice pack.

Jane gazed at the considerate man in front of her and unexpectedly said, "Thank you."

"Hmm?" Damien glanced at her.

Damien's face darkened marginally, "She had malicious intentions, so you let her hit you?"

"Then why not? It was a shoot, and I couldn't hit her back?" Jane chuckled.
