Chapter 73

Jane lifted her head and spotted a tall silhouette standing in front of her. The bright light behind him made it difficult for her to discern his features.

"You've blooped twice in a row today. Perhaps you'll do it a third or fourth time soon, and you might even surpass me. The favorable impression you left on the director might be ruined," Matt chuckled softly. "Are you afraid?"

Jane furrowed her brows slightly. Was he relishing her failure?

Maintaining her composure, she replied, "Even if I blooped a hundred times, will I stop acting? Thank you for your concern."

She stood up and headed towards Director Kurt.

Matt watched her depart with a glint of interest in his eyes.

No one can succeed with an eagerness to prove oneself, not even an acting prodigy.

Shortly after, the third take began.

To everyone's surprise, everything went smoothly, and the ending was flawless.

Director Kurt even praised Jane, "You did an excellent job."
