DEAD OR ALIVE?

The moment she got to the gate, Marcus was fast enough to grab her by her hair.

She tried to scream, but he pulled her into his arms and covered her mouth while she struggled to free herself.

I ran downstairs with Angelica and the rest at my back. Marcus held her still while she gave me the most dangerous stare.

She bit Marcus's hand so, she could speak. Marcus groaned in pain but allowed the old woman talk.

"You monster! Tell me, how long have you been working with the enemy?" She yelled but didn't get a response. "Have always known you were a heartless being… I have always known you had a hand in my niece's case, one way or the other...."

"Shut up!" I didn't let her finish. It was obvious she heard everything. I was scared but I tried not to show it.

Angelica walked over to where she was and felt irritated immediately. She figured Bella's aunt heard too much.

Just as Angelica was about to talk, Bella's aunt removed herself from Marcus’ grip and tried to escape. Yeah, she might have
