Midnight, The next day
Please leave me a review and give my book 'His Revenge' a chance too! Love you all!
"Are you ready?" Sean asked after setting up the TV. "We are but what I don't understand is why are we watching the CCTV footage of the accident when we already know it wasn't an accident? Now what we have to do is find the owner of the bike and catch him." Athaliah said in confusion. "Athaliah, there must be something which will lead us to something else toward the case that we should watch. Otherwise Sean wouldn't have asked us to watch it, right?" Aaron explained while putting his hand over her assuringly. They both were sitting beside each other on the couch in Athaliah's office. Athaliah gave a small look at his hand over her and slowly moved her hand away while giving him a small hesitating smile. Aaron looked at her with a frown. Her this kind of behaviour had been disturbing him from the past week. "Of course you would know everything. After all you watched it before witho
"Where is Aaron? Why didn't he reach yet?" Olivia asked Luke in an arrogant tone as if she was the boss of the office. She became really demanding after last time when Aaron visited her personally to say sorry and offered her the opportunity of this photoshoot. She started to dream things which are possible in dreams only. If only she knew.. Luke closed his eyes and asked for patience to deal with this arrogant woman. She was giving him and all the set members a really hard time with her demands. He opened his eyes after a few seconds and looked at her with a strained and fake smile. "He is on the way, Miss Lockhart. He is having an important meeting with his wife. I guess that's what is delaying him. I am sure he will be here soon." He said it as professionally as he could but a smirk automatically made its place on his lips when he saw her fume at mention of Athaliah.
"Welcome, Aaron." Olivia said over warmly while giving Aaron a hug. She also gave his cheek a small peck too in front of Athaliah. Athaliah looked at the scene in front of her with widened eyes and soon it turned into a glare. She was almost killing Olivia and Aaron with her glare. Feeling her glare, Aaron quickly pulled away from the hug and gave Athaliah a nervous smile. "You are dead, Aaron." He muttered under his breath. "Oh, hi. Athaliah, I didn't know you were coming." Olivia said with a fake polite smile and forwarded her hand for a handshake. Athaliah took her hand in her and gave it a small shook. "Isn't it normal for a wife to come with her husband to the parties where he was invited?" She asked with a smirk which shut her up immediately. Aaron smirked at Athaliah. He definitely liked it when Athaliah claime
"You are what?" Aaron and Athaliah loudly exclaimed at the same time again. "We are cousins!" Olivia answered this time while Hayden was busy gawking Athaliah which obviously didn't go unnoticed by Aaron. Aaron looked at him with a frown. Didn't Hayden just praised them by saying he and Athaliah makes the best couple then what is he trying to prove now by eyeing his wife? Aaron thought. Though the urge of poking Hayden's eyeballs out of its socket is really high at this moment to Aaron for looking at his wife like this. As if Hayden sensed his wish and took his eyes of her and looked at him. He gave him a small smile and looked back at Athaliah with the same smile. Then he turned back to Olivia. "How the hell I don't about you knowing Aaron, Olivia?" He asked. "I could ask you the same, Hayden! I didn't know that Athaliah was your childhood best friend and l
"Ari, baby! Don't cry, please!" Robin said with fake sadness. "Don't you dare to touch me!" Ariana snapped at him. "I might hate Athaliah or may dislike her but I don't like you too. I will never forget what you did with me. So stay away from me." Ariana said while wiping her fake tears. Robin immediately backed off after getting a signal from Olivia. "It's okay, Ari. Calm down. He will not touch you." Olivia said. "But tell me one thing." She said while looking at Ariana with a small frown. "What?" Ariana asked. "How sure are you about your hate toward Athaliah? Because just some time ago you said you don't hate her." Olivia asked to be sure because just a moment ago Ariana was supporting Athaliah and now she suddenly hates her is a little suspicious. "I don't hate her, Olivia. I am saying the same thing again. What
"I would say Luke did everything and the reason you don't know about this is because you already had a lot on your plate at that time. Athaliah's condition was worsening. She was closed to her due date, then you started to get those photos. Let's get there slowly." Ariana said. "Luke was there with me in every pub I went and got drunk. He went there to help me. I was almost reaching my breaking point. Psychiatrist, drinks, nothing was helping me. But I had started to open up to him slowly." She stopped again to give Luke a brief look. Athaliah was playing the silent observer's role here. She was busy observing the sincerity and the guilt in Ariana's tone. She also was noticing the looks Ariana and Luke were sharing. "One day, he suddenly called me and asked me to meet in a hotel room. I was pretty confused on why he would call me there. But of course I won't find out without going there so I got up, got ready, took my car keys, dro
"Are you done with your works for the day?" Aaron asked Athaliah over the phone. "Yes. I just came out of my cabin. Will be entering the elevator soon. Why?" Athaliah asked while checking the file of her latest deal. It was a really important deal for her company. She had been working really hard on these. "I am waiting outside your office to pick you up. Today we will go home together. Like past times."Aaron said while leaning over the door of the car looking at the sky. Athaliah almost stopped at her track hearing the word past times. They both always used to return home together from office and leave for office from home together too. No matter how much work the other person got. No matter how late it became from the other person. Instead they used to help each other with the work. "What happened, Mr Knight? You seem to be in a good mood today? What's the matter?" Athalia
"With me, her husband." Aaron said from behind. Athaliah and Hayden looked at him. "Yes, we came here to have a small family time with the children. It's a nice place. The children liked it here." Athaliah said with a smile. "I see. Hello, Aaron." Hayden said and forwarded his hand for a handshake. Aaron kept the tray on the table and gave the kids their individual desert. Then he looked back at Hayden and took his forwarded hand in his and gave it a brief shook. They both took their hands back. "Hello, Hayden. I am surprised to see you here." Aaron said with a smirk. "Me too." Hayden replied. "Oh, you are? I am even more surprised now." Aaron said with the same smirk. Athaliah's eyes widened when she realised it was supposed to be an insult for Hayden instead of a normal greeting. Hayden kept looking at hi
