94. Apologies

As they stood under the soft glow of the streetlights, Mr. Royal Knight's words hung in the air like a delicate promise. "And I believe we should learn to walk before we run. That's exactly why I didn't kiss you, Mrs. Eleanor Knight," he confessed, his tone gentle yet resolute. "But I promise not to make you wait for very long."

Eleanor felt a shiver of anticipation dance down her spine, her heart fluttering at his sincerity. "Very thoughtful, Mr. Royal Knight," she praised, her voice warm with affection.

A smile played at the corners of his lips, his eyes sparkling with affection. "It's so good to hear you praising me," he admitted, his gaze locked with hers.

She chuckled softly, the sound like music in the night air. "Keep doing such good work, and you shall be rewarded," she teased, her eyes dancing with mirth.
