Chapter 30: My Lifelong Craving Is Your Care

Judy awakens with a sharp pain in her head, and her eyes immediately scan the room. The bed beside her is empty, and she looks towards the clock to see the time. “Holy crap! It’s already 10 a.m.; did I really sleep for that long period of time?” Her eyes widen when she remembers she didn’t even make breakfast for Ellen. That makes her quickly jump down from the bed and check the washroom as well as the other places, but he’s nowhere. He’s left already, but what happened to him that he didn’t even wake her up? Judy’s attention is drawn to a coffee mug on the stand near the bed. She reaches out to touch the mug, only to find that it is still warm to the touch. This comes as a surprise, as Ellen doesn’t drink coffee. “Who can make it then?” Judy decides to drink the coffee in an attempt to alleviate the pain in her head.
