Chapter Forty Seven

The next month was very busy for Sheila and Zoey, Jimmy too, and as well as Derrick. He had to find a replacement for Sheila at the company for a space of one year. Sheila was so stubborn she wouldn't agree to stay home for more than a year, so he had to compromise and abide by her wish. When they get to that bridge they will cross it.

He was also planning his surprise proposal to her. He wanted to make her his wife as soon as possible. After Zoey's wedding, he would take her on a vacation and propose to her right there. He couldn't wait to see the reaction on her face.

Zoey's wedding was in two days and Sheila was staying at home to rest that day and the next. She had stressed herself too much and it was showing all over her face. She would have loved to be with Zoey all through the planning, but she just didn't have the strength to do that, the pregnancy sucking at her strength.
