Chapter Sixty
Zoey sighed in relief, she had been so scared and didn't know what she would have done if the reverse was to be the case, she would have just died.
"Oh thank goodness, can I go in and see him?" she asked the doctor.
"No, not just yet. We have to give him time to recuperate, you can go in after one hour, but make sure you stay quiet, he lost quite a lot of blood so he needs maximum rest" the doctor finished and left.
"Thank you, doctor," Zoey shouted after him.
After an hour, she went into the ward to see Jimmy. He was deep in sleep like a baby, which he definitely was not. Zoey's eyes filled with tears as she gazed at him.
God! She had been so scared something would happen to him, thankfully, nothing happened.
Only God knew who was responsible for all of this. First, the person tried to poison Sheila, now it was her and Jimmy. Zoey was sure it must be the same person.
