~ ELEVEN ~

I was so frustrated. Kealey just wouldn't wake up fully, yet she still insisted on going home and not the hospital.

I was carrying her in a bridal style. She was sound asleep as her hands were wrapped around my neck and her head was resting against my chest. There was no way I could deny that she looked beautiful.

Kealey was a very beautiful, young, intelligent and funny woman. She just wasn't the person I wanted. If I wasn't so egoistic and had apologized to Layla, all would've been well and we'd have been married. Why the fuck did I tell her those shit before the wedding! Gosh, I could be stupid at times.

Kealey snuggled closer to me. She looked so pure, innocent, scared. It was obvious that the trauma she experienced was beyond the Man's attempts… who knows what'd have happened if I hadn't arrived on time.

Kealey had obviously forced this stupid marriage and it frustrated me every single day but I couldn't do anything. It would've seemed so stupid to divorce her so soon so I was going to wait if I wanted to do that.

The elevator door made a sound then they opened. I stepped out of the elevator then headed to my old room. How much I loved that room.

I opened the door while carrying her then walked in, dropping her on the bed. The moment I placed her on the bed, she curled into a ball. She winced then was muttering words in her sleep.

I heaved a sigh then was about to turn to leave but her voice halted my movement. "Please wait. Don't leave me again." She mumbled. I knew it was a sleep-talk but the seriousness in her words denoted that she was enclosed in the embrace of fear, in the need of… dunno.

I was going to ignore her so I continued moving.

"Please don't go. I'll change. My life will be ruined without you." She cried. I pivoted to face her with raised eyebrows. Tears were trickling down her face. Gosh, was she seriously crying in her sleep?

I let out a sigh then walked back to her.

"What's it with you?" I gruffed.

"I promise I won't. Please don't hurt me." She sobbed. What the hell?! Was she a victim of physical harm? Shit, this was so complicated and I hated complicated issues.

Of course I wasn't totally heartless; My concern grew as she started to shiver and her cry intensified. She stiffened her curled body. Goodness gracious!

I took off my shoes then hers and climbed on the bed then held her hands. They were so soft and were squeezing mine. What was her deal? I had a woman waiting for me at a hotel. I couldn't let Kealey pin me down.

She sobbed and cried, still sleeping. Something needed to be done about her, seriously! I held her face then patted her head.

"Shut the fuck up and sleep!" Too harsh? That was my way of comforting someone so deal with it!

The tension her body expressed seemed to come down as her stiffened body relaxed.

I wanted to stand up again but she held me, tightening her grip on my hand. Was she doing this on purpose? Didn't seem like it.

"Don't leave me. I don't care how much you hurt me, just don't leave me." She started to cry again, sniffing at short intervals.

"Guess I'll have to sleep here with you, crybaby!" I groaned.

I settled myself beside her. She still held my hands like her life depended on it. I wasn't in a comfortable sleeping position so I laid on my side, having my eyes glued to her. She looked like she was having a war inside her head as she made different facial expressions, still sleeping!

I wrapped both my arms around her and her body relaxed completely at my magical embrace. Gosh, was going to have to sleep like this all through the night? Not like I was complaining—Actually, I was.

Not bothering that I didn't have a shower, change my clothes and wear something comfortable, I drifted into that thing— what was it called again? Yeah, 'sleep'.

~ KEALEY ~

The feeling of warmth spread through me as I felt two strong arms pull me closer to the warmth of his body. Wait, his body? Mike?!

I immediately jerked away from him and it made him flinch his way awake. Oh, Kaiden? Kaiden was in the same bed as me? Cuddling me? Wow! How did that happen?

"Goodness, you're awake!" He exclaimed, having a stern look on his face. He winced and massaged his head.

"You have a headache?" I asked, sitting up straight.

"Who wouldn't? After all the fucking stress you put me through last night? You kept waking up to utter some shit and I felt obliged  to fucking calm you down." He complained. Awwww he cared about me that much.

"That's so cute and very romantic of you. You couldn't bear to see your wife in such a state." I cooed.

"Ew, no way! I was just about to throw you out the window." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh, shut up. You're starting to love me. Why then did you have your arms around me?" I seductively bit my lower lip. Damn, I was still in this uncomfortable 'not a nightgown'

red gown. "You could've at least changed my outfit." I rolled my eyes.

"Change your outfit?" He frowned. "Why would I do that? There was no way I could even get you to stop frustrating me, how could I have—" .

"Shut up, one word is enough." I cut him off and rolled my eyes. I stretched my arms above my head then exhaled, slouching my back.

"I'm so late. You'll have to pay for this!" He pointed his index at me. "I have a meeting that was to start—" he glanced at the wall clock above the door, "thirty minutes ago! I couldn't get enough sleep because of you—"

"College!" I snapped. "I'm so late! I ought to be in the stupid physics class." I ruffled my hair.

"Look who hates Physics." He snorted, rolling his way out of bed then rose up, stretching his arms.

"No, I hate the Professor." I frowned at the thought of being in the same class with Mr Stanley. The way he leered at me always made me feel like poking his stupid eyes with a fork. I clenched my fists.

He rolled his eyes at me.

"He just wouldn't stop looking at me like he was taking off my clothes with his eyes. His flirtatious stare irritates me!" I exclaimed.

"He looks at you with sexual interests?" For once, I thought he was finally being serious. He did sound like it until I looked at him wearing a stupid smirk. "That's great. You get to have someone hitting on you. I don't have a problem with you doing whatever you like with him." He shrugged.

"I wouldn't because I'm married!" I said through gritted teeth.

"Whatever you say." He rolled his eyes again then left the room.

"Stupid!" I hollered then he poked his hand into the room, revealing his middle finger. So childish of him.

I was literally running to class. I didn't want to face the wrath of Mr Stanley. Not like it was a big deal when other students came late to his class. We were in college, not highschool!

I burst open the door, panting afterwards.

Mr Stanley was explaining something but he stopped and glared at me. All eyes were on me as well. I should've just waited so I could skip this class. Well, physics was vital for me.

I ignored the eyes on me then walked to sit between George and Beth. They already kept a seat for me.

Mr Stanley didn't comment on me being late but continued the class. Great!

The boring class was finally done and it was time for everyone to vanish like the gas that exited the butthole.

"Kealey, please see me in my office after this class." Mr Stanley said, arranging his files into one bunch. He didn't even look at me as he spoke. He just left after that.

"What's your with that dude?" Beth twisted her face to a frown. "Do you need me to follow you? I don't trust him." Beth suggested.

I gave her a smile and shook my head negatively. "No need. If he tries anything funny, I'll let him know that I'm married." I removed the silver necklace that was always around my neck and had my wedding ring as its pendant. I took my ring from it then slid it into my finger.

"Wow, it's beautiful!" Beth widened her mouth. "It's real diamond?" She asked.

"Yup." I nodded.

"Woah, my sugar biscuit has a diamond ring." George flashed me his cute grin. And yeah, he was back at the weird nicknames.

"I thought we talked about the nickname!" I scolded.

"What? I can stop with the nicknames, vanilla chocolate." He smirked. That was it. I wasn't going further in arguing with him.

"We'll wait for you in the cafeteria. My boyfriend won't pick me up today." She looked disappointed.

"Boyfriend?" I quirked an eyebrow.

"Yeah. Henry." She said with a proud smile. "We've been together for six months but people never know I have a boyfriend."

Henry? Wasn't that Layla's ex-boyfriend? I didn't want to jump into conclusions so I set that topic aside. "I seriously thought you and George were a thing." I pointed my finger between both of them.

They shared a glance at each other before staring back at me then burst into laughing.

"Are you kidding me? Beth? Ew, no way." He cringed.

"Hey!" She smacked his forehead and we both laughed while he rubbed his forehead.

"I seriously thought you were a thing. You guys act all lovey-dovey." I shrugged.

"George acts lovey-dovey with everyone, including you." She half-shrugged.

"Let's leave this gross topic and you get to that stupid Professor!" George reminded me of Mr stupid Stanley.

"Oh," I picked my bag from my chair then hung it's strap over one shoulder.
