With a glass of wine, Aiden was standing by the window, thinking about Veronica’s reaction to the video. She remained unaffected as if it was nothing to be mad at. “Or she was affected but successfully concealed it,” He mumbled, still unable to decipher the look she gave him before leaving.

He took his phone and called the person to know about the progress. “Did you find out about the woman Aries was meeting?”

“She is his ex-mistress! It appears they’ve reconciled.”

“What the fuck?” Aiden’s eyes glisten and he stifles a chuckle. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, sir. Melinda has accompanied him on various business trips in the past. Some of their pictures went viral back then, but he always declined the rumors,”

“Great!” Aiden chuckled again. “Thanks,” he ended the call and opened Veronica’s picture from the shoot. “Oh, Veronica, I always knew he wasn’t the right one for you,” He sighed. “And I’ll prove it to you. Once a playboy is always a playboy.”
