With Ethan’s anger unleashed, his assistant did not dare to hesitate. He immediately took out his phone and started to issue a series of commands, ordering people to find out where the news originated from.

He especially wanted to find the man who claimed that Olivia was a gold digger and probably have a ‘little chat’ with him. That woman looked naive, there was no way she would know how to con someone.

He could still remember how she had questioned his boss’s morality after realizing that she had been bought, there was no way she could have a scheming mind. If that was true, she could not have lived such a pathetic life.

This was the first time he has seen his boss angered because of someone. It seemed that his boss still had a heart, after all, and he especially cared about his surrogate.

“It’s done. The investigation has started and we will have something soon.” the assistant said as he looked at his boss who had a gloomy expression on his face.
