CHAPTER 62

With every step, that I take, terror grips me, the tall trees it’s branches seems to be reaching out to me, trapping me.

I could hear everyone’s laugh , the footsteps of them, everyone gets into the bus, but my heart remains frozen, hands caress my wrist, “Lily.” Aiden’s voice brings me out of the deadly haze, my mind paralysed with the sight of larry lying on the ground.

“Are you okay?” he asks as we get in the bus and sat.

“I just-” My lips part, his hands caress my shoulder, slowly massaging it, my eyes closed in relief, “Was the night too rough, Lily” His words makes me remember the dreamy night but like a flash blood infiltrates the memories.
