Chapter 116 "She was Threatened"

The flower shop is closed, and yet, Lance was still waiting outside the shop while rain bucketed down.

Cool wind began to pick up, it seemed to form a frosty blade, which slices through Lance’s warmth. It penetrated his skin, forcing its way through his jacket, funneling through his sleeves and out of his collar.

A thin and muggy fog nestled in.

“It’s getting late,” Lance said, looking at the apartment building.

He raised his hand and caught the needle-like droplets of water falling as he took shade under the roof of his shop.

The sultry wind started to violently toss the rain about, and walls of raindrops falling toward the earth are rounded up and slung hard, walloping building facades, and enveloping parked cars.

Even if Jane brought an umbrella with her, Lance felt worried as the rain kept on getting stronger and stronger. He looked at the weather forecast just a moment ago and heard that there was this low-pressure area within their country’s area of responsibility.
