Chapter 68 "Just an Acting"

Third Person’s POV

Jane and Lance walked side by side, sticking next close to each other as if there was super glue between them. Lance used his large build, enough to cover Jane’s face as much as possible. When he peeped behind, he saw his mother following them from afar.

‘Oh my god,’ Lance sighed intuitively.

It surprised him so much that his mom will take her time following his son. He’s used to having caring parents. His mom introduced women to him in fear that he might live as bachelor forever.

‘But this is too much! Why follow me?!’ Lance complained mentally.

If only he knows what’s going on inside his parents’ head, he might understand why they are overreacting.

Meanwhile, Jane kept on breathing sharply while walking with her boss. Just the thought of meeting his mom and getting caught lying made her heart burst out of her chest! What will happen if their secret is exposed? Or, what if Jane had to take responsibility for this for the rest of her life?
