“Absolutely not! Have you completely lost your mind? We cannot do that! We will not do that!” Jake’s voice resounded with a fiery authority, a tone which might intimidate most into submission. But she wasn’t one to be easily overruled.

“Why not?” She retorted, her eyes flashing nervously, unable to comprehend the vehemence of his response.
