Chapter 61

After a short drive, D'Andre arrived at the school. He quickly spotted Andrea, not that it was challenging because he'd known where to find her since yesterday.

D'Andre could see a hint of worry on Andrea's face. He inquired, "Hey there, what's bothering you?"

Andrea explained that her mom had forgotten to complete her drawing assignments. The class was scheduled right after lunch, and she needed those drawings done.

Knowing that kids can be slow at drawing, D'Andre offered to help. He grabbed her notebook and started to sketch and complete his daughter's assignment. They sat on the playground, working side by side.

Once they were done, they couldn't resist the urge to play. Laughter filled the air as they ran around, enjoying this precious moment together.
