CHAPTER TWENTY - TRAUMA  

Williams’ POV

I watched her as she ran up the stairs, with her eyes overwhelmed with the tears that rolled down her cheeks freely. The sound of her feet stamping the ground and her running off to cry out her eyes broke my heart. I was struck with so much pain, that my knees stood still as I found it impossible to get on my feet and go after her to console her.

My hands fell to the ground as I fell to the floor and my claws grew out. I cried out in pain as I cut my nails across the floor. The eyes poured out so much water that I could no longer see myself. All I could see were the tears that poured out and the fire that burned closer to my heart than any other fire could.

My knees finally gained stamina as I stood up and dusted myself with the tears still gushing out like an outpouring dam. I could hear the outburst of Monica who was at the utmost end of the house.

Each step I took caused me pain, each step led me closer to the wound I reopened in the heart of the woman I love. Stil
