Richard's POV

"What's wrong with me? Isn't this my company's business? Everything is up to me. Why are you the one who's inflamed, Krystal? Did your loyal dog snitch?" I quipped.

Krystal, on the other side, was silent. I could feel her shock, which was not quickly masked.

"You've changed, Richard. You've become rude, you know?" said Krystal across the line. I raised my eyebrows. Was she trying to repeat the same pattern? Is she trying to make me feel guilty again?

Sorry, but it didn't work this time. "Is telling the truth now considered a rude act?" I loosened my tie while fixing my sitting position in the car.
