Chapter 13

On her way out of the restaurant, Elena spotted a guy who seemed to be trying to make her stop in her tracks. He was handsome with low beards and it did make her stop walking as she turned to him in confusion.

"Hi." The man said in between breaths.

Elena nodded. "Hi. Can I help you?"

The man smiled. "I'm Gregory, what's your name?"

"Elena." She replied giving the man a small smile.

Gregory nodded. "I've been... I've been trying to talk to you one-on-one but you seem always busy and hard to approach."

"Why do you want to approach me?" Elena asked with puckered forehead.

Greg chuckled. "Isn't that obvious? You're a very beautiful woman. I know it could feel somehow to you but if you don't mind, can we be friends?"

Elena wanted to open her mouth to talk, but...

"You can't." She suddenly heard. She sighed at the familiar voice which was confirming that Alex has arrived.

Alex walked closer to them, standing beside Elena and in front of the guy. "Go find another woman to woo."

Greg scoffed.
