I was very glad that I brought happiness to his heart, he is such a kind man. There wasn't much to do at home, my siblings finished all the work. I had finished cooking, served my mum and siblings. Dad isn't always around even on Sundays that is suppose to be family bonding time. I guess the man will never change.I finished eating so I decided to go and buy mum's remaining drugs. I said and someone spoke up from the stairs."Please tell her my dear"Felicia and I looked towards the direction where the voice spoke from and I saw a lady decending the stairs. She could be up to forty to fifty or less. I couldn't say because she looked very beautiful and had a nice skin. I don't think she is that old. She also has a striking resemblance with Felicia and Jones. Must be their mother or.."Oh come on mum, it doesn't happen all the time"She is their mother. What a family of beauty in a mansion of beauties."Yeah tell me. I could remember vividly not up to a month ago you misplac

Elma's POVThe wedding preparations has been going smoothly according to Nina and Felicia. They have been calling me, asking me about my favorite colors, my pictures and full name. They also sent me my wedding dress, shoe and other clothes too.Our pre wedding pictures looks great. Even though we didn't actually meet, i mean we haven't met yet. The only thing Nina told me was that Jones was too busy so we will have to see each other on the wedding day which is in two days. It's still like a dream to me. Me getting married to a man who I don't know a thing about. I look at our pictures every day, trying to guess his character. More like assume his character and all I could bring out is him possibly being nice and sweet but all that is under probability.Am just assuming him as nice because of his cute face. What if he is no where near nice? What if his character is a strict opposite of his looks? All these thoughts just keep disturbing since the day dad agreed that I marry into the M
Jones POVThe day is here already. My freaking wedding day. My tie is giving me a hard time to fix. Here I am preparing to walk down the aisle with a total stranger. Can my life be any better?.I can't believe this shit is happening. Am about to go into a pit and my parents are doing nothing about it. Instead they are busy trying to make it a big wedding.Come to think of it, why would people in their right senses make their only son marry a nobody?I managed to get some information about the girl am getting married to. She is a total nobody. High school drop out and a fish seller. Are my parents insane? What is wrong with parents nowadays? To worsen it, she is eighteen. Am getting married to a novice. Tell me how am I supposed to live with her? A teenager for that fact. There is a huge age gap between us how are we going to understand each other? This is absurd. She is definately no match with Ruby. Gosh Ruby. I miss her like hell. She isn't picking my calls. I have gone to her house
Jones POVThere goes the wedding bells, ringing down my heart as I stood at the altar facing the priest. Am about to be joined with total stranger. How did I get here exactly? How is it that they are happy that their only son is about to marry a nobody? What exactly made them think that she is the one for me? Did she cast them on a spell or something?Well, girls this days will do anything just to get married to a young, rich and handsome man like me.My heart tensed at the sound of the opening church doors and the bridal match song. I didn't turn around to see my 'bride', match forward but I knew she was approaching.Even though I imagined it to be Ruby, the reality of things hit me. It wasn't her but someone else. I promised Ruby that I was hers and hers alone but I have broken that promise. The thought of that weakens me. Am getting married to someone else not my Ruby. God I wish she could come
Elma's POV"Welcome to your room ma'am" a maid said as she placed my bags to the huge closet. "Thanks" I walked into the room, Jones'room. It was as huge as the living room. It has a king size bed with blue mattress and nice pillows. Some had his picture on it. It was very nice. There was three white couches and a glass table at the center. His room was full of style. Two huge pictures of him, one he was on a black long suit. It almost looked like those long robes wizards normally wear but his was perfect. While the other, he was on a blue tux and black bow tie. His hair was relaxed to the back and it was shinny black. He has his hands inside his pocket and his eyes was facing else where. He sure does know how to pose. He looked so much like a model. I still can't believe he is my husband."Ma'am?" She tapped me a little. I guess I was drooling at the sight before me that I didn't know she was talking to me."Yes?"."I asked if there is anything I could do for you?""Oh.. no I'll unp
