Maid Heather couldn't help but chuckle. She placed the milk on the dining table and said,

"Mrs. Smith, I didn't cook anything greasy today. It's all light and healthy."

Maria looked at the table filled with boiled corn, boiled eggs, milk, cucumbers, and fruits. It was indeed a low-fat meal.

"Thank you, Maid Heather."

She happily walked over and took a bite of a cucumber.

Charles sat down across from her, and Maid Heather immediately brought him a sandwich and fried eggs.

"Mrs. Smith, your meal is different from Young Master Smith’s. Don't worry. I will pay attention to your diet."

Maria nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Maid Heather."

Maid Heather waved her hand quickly. "Oh, don't thank me. It's my duty."

"It's more than just your duty."

Maria said seriously while eating the cucumber, "In this world, no one is obliged to be good to another person. Even parents are not obliged to be good to their children. As human beings, we should be grateful and not let others' kindness go to waste."
