Linda sat down on the bed, pouting discontentedly. "You're right, but they could have at least chosen a cleaner hotel. I thought only my room stinks, but I can smell something in your room too."

"Hmm?"

Maria sniffed hard and shook her head in confusion. "I don't smell anything."

Linda glanced at Maria and lay down on Maria’s bed with her toy in her arms. "I have a naturally sensitive sense of smell. I can smell even the slightest weird odor."

She suddenly chuckled. "Maria, you know what? Back when I was in high school, our classroom was right next to the bathroom. It was torture for me every day during class because of the smell. It was so sour and it came in waves..."

Maria lay down next to her and turned her head to look at her. "How could it come in waves?"

"Geez."

Linda couldn't help but cover her nose. "Every time someone went in, I would smell it..."

She turned her head and looked at Maria with a frown. "Wasn't it coming in waves?"
