Everyone in the living room was a little stunned by Mr Arnold's response. Mrs Arnold just dropped her head, failing to look at her husband who was furious at this point. The whole room was filled with silence and the atmosphere felt tense.

" I see you people have no shame, you see the way you are all seated right here? This is exactly how you were seated when you came asking for my first daughter's hand in marriage. Now you come again, seated in the same posture, asking for my second daughter's hand in marriage. Aren't you not ashamed? Isn't it not absurd?" Mr Arnold questioned.

Everyone kept silent, no one dared to utter a word. Indeed Mr Arnold had a point with his question.

" Mr Arnold, I suggest we let bygones be bygones, let's move on for the sake of our children. We all know they will be parents sooner or later, now more than ever is the time we should put our heads together and strengthen them . Don't tell me that you will go against this marriage?" Mrs Williams spoke out.
