Chapter 24

Rose carefully took off the dress and headed towards the bathroom. She entered and shut the door behind her to enclose herself in the solitude of the room. She took a moment in the bathroom to gather her thoughts and consider the complex feelings and unstated power dynamics that seemed to permeate her present circumstance.

Time passed as Rose struggled to find clarity and resolution in the midst of her inner turmoil.
