Chapter 6

Rose emerged from the restroom, covered in a fluffy towel that was securely wrapped around her chest. Her hair was still wet from the shower, and water droplets glistened on her skin. A sweet perfume floated off of her as she strolled across the room, infusing the air with a delicate fragrance.

It seemed he knew everything that a woman needs, expensive things that Rose wouldn't even dream of owning. It was still too good to be true.

She stood in front of the bathroom mirror and stared at herself for a long time. She was worried about what was going to happen. She had never been with a man before, but this was her wedding night. In a real sense, it seemed like he owned her, she hadn't offered anything to him, and he had been the one giving. She took a deep breath, "he won't force me to do anything that I don't want to", she thought, "he's reasonable just like he said earlier", Rose said to herself In a low whisper trying to give herself some form of assurance. Rose didn't know anything about Sebastian except for what she had learned from their very brief courtship chats, she knew very nothing about her husband.

Suddenly she felt a sharp pang in her chest.

She missed her Mom, and her little brother, although there'll be comfortable where they are, Sebastian made sure of that. But nothing beats the feeling of having them close by.

This was all new and she'd have to get used to it as fast as possible.

Rose dressed up in her nightwear, she found gently placed on her bed, it was an opulent silk robe in a gentle blush hue that falls just over the knee. The robe has delicate lace decoration on the corners and sleeves, which adds a touch of feminine beauty. The robe clings her contours delicately, emphasizing her shape without exposing too much skin. She is dressed in a matching silk nightgown that hangs freely over her body and is also a gentle blush color. The nightgown features a modest V-neckline that exposes just enough of her collarbone and décolletage to be appealing without being overly exposing.

"Such a nice taste he has", she said as she stood fully dressed.

As she made her way toward their bedroom, she couldn't help but wonder what may happen that night. Will he be kind to her? Is he expecting her to know what to do? What if she let him down? These were her thoughts as she took a deep breath and entered the room.

He was on his desk when she knocked.

"Come on in," he said his voice lively

She noticed he was with his laptop, he seemed engrossed with the display on the screen.

"Working late?"

She asked him. "No, not really, I'm just finishing some important things, but it can wait". "You look dazzling," he said with a smile, now getting up from where he sat.

As he stood up, and walked slowly towards her she could now notice that he looked fresh, "I guess he had his bath too". Rose thought he was dressed in pajama pants that cling to his thighs and show off his leg muscles. The pants are worn with a form-fitting black t-shirt that draws attention to his strong shoulders and muscular chest, the buttons were unlocked, revealing his abs, and The shirt's sleeves are short, exposing his strong biceps. The clothing shows just enough of his toned body to be appealing without being overtly revealing or indecent. In his nightgown, he appears confident and at ease, and his physique serves as a subliminal reminder of his strength and masculinity.

Rose gulped and looked away shyly. Almost as if aroused by his intimidating physique.

With his hand he took hers, and with the other he stroked her hair softly, bringing his face closer to hers.

Then he leaned in and lovingly kissed her. Although it was a sweet kiss, it made her heart accelerate. She'd never felt this way before. This was happening very fast.

He moved from her lips and then kissed her on her forehead.

"I know you're tired, my dear Rose," he said softly "Let us just sleep tonight."

A flood of relief washed over her. She was relieved that her new Sebastian recognized her exhaustion. "Thank you," she said softly with a smile. That sounds great."

She didn't know what to call him. He often called her "My dear Rose", or just "Dear". But she was caught in between what to call him that would sound appropriate. She never had the cause to call his name, he always seemed to know what she wanted. And always provided it.

She wondered if that was something to be worried about, or grateful for. She was always quiet In his presence, never knowing what to say. It suddenly seemed like her boldness and confidence were gone, swapped with this good life. Things that weren't hers.

And like Sebastian knew what she was thinking, he said to her.

"We don't have to talk if you don't want to, we can just go to sleep, we have all the time in the world".

She nodded and smiled at him, for some reason his last statement sounded weird. Or maybe it was just her being paranoid, or tired even. "A good sleep would get me off of this drift," she thought as she lay on his huge bed.

She noticed he also lay down on the bed as she did, placing his hands gently on her waist and whispering." Goodnight my dear Rose"

"Goodnight," Rose said, not knowing whether to add Sebastian or anything else. She finally gave it a rest.

"Was this the same guy who called me punk at the hospital?" She thought.

It's either he's now too nice for a reason, evil, or Life has finally shone on her.

His statement echoed in her mind again "We have all the time in the world"

"We'll find out," she thought as she struggled to sleep.
