Nathan had just walked into the hospital's corridor when he heard laughter coming from the old man's ward.

He frowned and hurried his footsteps. To his surprise, when he opened the door to the ward, he saw his mom cracking jokes with a lady who had her back to the door. Taking a closer look at her, his gaze darkened. What is Gloria doing here? Isn't she suppose to be overseas taking care of their family's company?

Walking in Nathan loosened his eyebrows. "Mom.."

Mrs. Leah Clemons smiled. "My dear you are here. Gloria has been waiting for a while now. She was worried about you when she heard about the Patriarch's illness so she rushed here to keep you company."

"Gloria" Nathan nodded his head at her only after hearing his mom.

Gloria then jumped on him and hugged him tightly. "Nate, I miss you so much. How are you doing?"
