Chapter 48

At the Clemon hospital, Gloria was happily having a conversation with the Patriarch when the Patriarch suddenly asked out of the blue. "What do you think about you and Nathan getting married this time around?"

Gloria was surprise at first that the Patriarch wanted her to marry Nathan then again she knew no one could get in her way as she was the only powerful woman with both status and power and matched perfectly with Nathan.

She shyly lowered her head before sighing. And in a wobbly voice she replied "I have always wanted to get married to Nathan. We grew up together and I have always thought that we would get married. But I didn't know what happened for Nathan to change his mind all of a sudden. Grandpa you know, I am still in love with him. I have always loved him"

Hearing her voice that wobbly, that goes up and down as if she was going to cry he held her hand. "Don't worry. Nathan and you would definitely get married. I would do everything in my power to make sure you get married.
