Angel was waiting for Dave on the bed. Her husband came home late and is currently cleaning himself in the bathroom. Angel put the white folder under the pillow. She would take it out later when they talked.

While waiting, Angel thought of a series of words she would say to Dave. To be sure, she didn't want to seem overly enthusiastic, afraid that she might turn out to be wrong and that would upset him. Angel will only reveal that this is her routine health check.

Dave finally came out of the bathroom. He only glanced at Angel before leaving to check his phone which he put on the sofa.

“Dave!” called Angel out of impatience.

“Hm.”

"How was your job today?" Angel asked for small talk.

While holding his phone, Dave stepped closer to Angel. "Everything's fine," Dave replied. He put his phone on the nightstand and climbed onto the bed. His warm gaze met Angel's nervously blinking eyes. "Why ask?" he asked.

Angel shook her head. "It
