As Vida had expected, the dinner was awkward. Roy Wijaya was the only one who seemed to be chattering, asking everything about Vida, from her childhood story until she grew up. Meanwhile Reeves and Liam, who were once again somehow on purpose, were arranged to sit to her right and left, just enjoying their meal in silence.

"Your grandmother, Diana, used to love this food." Roy Wijaya looked reminiscing, staring at the lobster soup in front of him. "There is a Dutch restaurant at the end of town, the only one that provides this menu. Your grandmother and I used to steal time to eat there." 

Vida watched Roy Wijaya and was saddened to see how much this man seemed to still love her grandmother. Maybe his love for her grandmother was so deep, that almost tens of years had passed and that love still maintained.

If only Vida could experience that kind of love.
