“Princess Cerina, here it comes. Catch this if you can!” Nicanor shouted at me teasingly as if he’s underestimating my abilities to catch an ordinary ball. I am dreaming again. This is the scene where we were just young kids playing catch in the school quadrangle. 

“Go on! Do not— Ouch! That hurts,” I exclaimed when the ball that Nicanor threw at me just hit my face. That was too fast. And I was just talking to him when he suddenly threw the ball at me. He did not give a signal. 

He just laughed at me, including our other friends. Caya and Deborah teased me then, they chuckled. I snorted and let out a sigh from my mouth. I touched my cheek to heal the pain caused by the collision of the ball and my face. Wait, where’s that ball?
