CHAPTER XXX: The Power of Libra
A pair of wings made of wind enveloped in electricity instantly formed at Raid's back and he went straight to the very top of the tower to attack the demon residing there. We were just dumbfounded by what he did. He was in a hurry and didn't even think of a plan. That was reckless of him.
He moved his hands forward and spread his palms, facing the tower. A huge golden magic circle slowly materialized in front of him, glowing brightly. Rune letters started to form around his body.
“Celestial Storm Magic: Lion’s Roar of Calamity!” he casted without any hint of hesitation.
“Raid, don’t do it!” Acanta warned him, but the man did not listen to her. Raid seemed underestimating our enemies. He can’t just attack without devising any plan.
A huge lion’s head came out from his magic circle. After a few moments, it roared loudly and the sound created by his spell reverberated thro
CHAPTER XXXI: Justice PrevailsAcanta snapped her fingers and in just an instant, her celestial weapon, Ordan—an orb that can absorb evil spirits— manifested on her palm. She threw it to the air and eventually was able to catch it. She did is several times as if she’s throwing and catching a usual ball. She smiled. What she’s planning to do?“Hey!” she said, calling the attention of the devil riding on a wheeled chair. Belphegor just looked at her while contently sipping his tea.“Wanna play dodge ball?” she asked but her voice was more like taunting her opponent. My forehead creased out of disbelief and confusion. What Acanta really plans to do?“Playing dodge ball at this age? I don’t know that you are a joker, young—” Acanta didn’t let Belphegor finish what he wanted to say.“Don’t tell me you don’t know how to play dodge ball?” she teased. The
CHAPTER XXXII: UnityMy eyes can’t follow their movements. Acanta and Belphegor attacked each other in a very insane speed. I can’t keep up. I couldn’t help it but to be amazed by them with my mouth gaping. The moment Acanta threw her orb at Belphegor, the latter swung his flail non-stop while Ordan keeps on coming to him without Acanta throwing it repeatedly. She just threw her orb once and Ordan always changes its trajectory and diverts its direction, trying to penetrate Belphegor’s defense as if it has its own mind. Acanta has the control over everything in her realm even without touching them. She’s manipulating her orb without touching it. And she’s doing it while floating on the air, deeply meditating and holding a golden balancing scale on her right hand. I don’t know how she was able to meditate and concentrate in this kind of situation. But d*mn, this is not a dodge ball anymore. This is a battle of stami
CHAPTER XXXIII: The Sorrow of a Demon KidRaid, Glade, Niklais, Nicanor and the others keep on landing blows to Belphegor. I didn’t join them for a while because I have something to do. Acanta is still meditating on the air and I don’t have the slightest idea on what she is planning now.“Everything that aims to destroy balance and harmony is Libra’s sworn enemy,” the spirit of Acanta’s zodiac mentioned. Afterwards, a golden open opened above us. Then, a colossal double-edged sword covered with golden bright lights descended from it.Our comrades immediately retreated and kept their distance from Belphegor who still persistently aiming his weapon to us despite the fatal blows he got from my friends while recharging his Cosmic Destroyer without any defense.“Libra’s Judgement: Divine Sword of Justice,” Acanta and her celestial zodiac spirit synchronously stated. Then, the left scale on the balancing sca
CHAPTER XXXIV: Blood ContractA resounding clap from somewhere welcomed us as we stepped our feet on the second floor of the tower. It’s coming from above.“So that’s the Celestial Twelve for you, huh!” Lucreo’s voice echoed in the four corners of this dimmed room. There are no lights here unlike in the first floor where there were fire torches hanged up on the wall. We don't have time for his nonsense shenanigans.“Maybe I had underestimated you. I never thought of you defeating my precious brother, Belphegor. Oh my dear brother. I feel bad for you for having such fate like that. You were still immature until your last breath, longing for someone to play with you. And that made me sick!” he softly said in his first lines but then the tone of his voice suddenly went up in the latter part of his statement. Is he a bipolar? Someone who has the ability to change mood from time to time?“Anyway, there are only 8
CHAPTER XXXV: Nakedness and FantasyGlade and Deborah quickly switched and maneuvered their bodies into their fighting position as Asmodeus grabbed his cloak completely covering his whole physical figure. The wicked demon pulled his cloak, removing it from his body and we were all stunned by what we have seen next. We have this unfathomable expression etched on our faces right now.Who would not be shocked? Where on middle earth can you see a fighter on a tournament completely naked? Caya, Suzaine and the other girls screamed out of extreme astonishment. While here I am, squinting my eyes several times with my gaping mouth. My eyes, my virgin innocent eyes were just tainted with an act of lasciviousness. It wasn’t my fault, though. After some time, Raid covered my eyes with his hand.“D*mn, you don’t have to see it. I can show you mine, if you want,” he teased me. I firmly removed his hand on my eyes out of annoyance. However, I ca
CHAPTER XXXVI: Love Over LustGlade and Deborah keep on kissing each other. And they seemed really enjoying what they are doing. Suddenly, a giant red tulip flower rose from the ground and it swallowed them. It’s a product of Glade’s Flower Magic.“What’s happening? Are they going to continue their love making inside that flower?” the announcer told, and, it seemed like he was disappointed. He made me pissed off even more. But I tried to contain myself. We can hear Glade’s and Deborah’s loud moans and groans of pleasure resonating from the inside of that tulip flower and we know what they are up to right now. They are really doing that thing. We could not help it but to just let out a deep sigh of hopelessness. They were being carried away of their carnal desires for flesh.“Glade, Deobrah, please wake up! I don’t want you to die. Overcome what you are feeling right now. Don’t give into lust,&rdq
CHAPTER XXXVII: World of Eternal DesireAsmodeus didn’t give Glade and Deborah the chance to get near him. He keeps on hampering their movements by consecutively shooting beams of fire, frost, lightning and acid towards them. The two just keep on dodging his attacks.Glade and Deborah, what are you up to? Your celestial spirits have been controlled by Asmodeus and your weapons have been completely destroyed. I heaved a deep sigh because of that thought. I should believe in them. My faith on them should be bigger than my fear that they might lose on the battle.“And now, King Asmodeus is showing off the ability of his weapon, the Ruby Rod of Hell, which is a powerful artifact that symbolizes the rulership of Underworld,” the announcer mentioned. My attention went to Asmodeus’ staff. There’s a strong force emanating from that weapon. I just can’t figure out what it is but something in me says that it is a formidable weapo
CHAPTER XXXVIII: TrickyThe lights in the arena suddenly turned off, making us unaware of the surroundings and what had happened while Asmodeus was manifesting his cursed realm. A machine-liked sound loudly resonated near us then the lights went back.“And now, we are going to watch their fight through this virtual screen developed by King Lucreo,” the host told out of a sudden.A big cinema-liked screen just appeared in front of us, showing what’s inside Asmodeus’ World of Eternal Desire. Only the wielder, Glade and Deborah were transported there since we are not allowed to get involved in their fight. Though, we were still allowed to watch their fight through this big screen even though they were on other dimension. I got to admit it. That’s a brilliant idea of Lucreo. My thoughts came into halt when I saw Deborah on the screen, walking alone in a deserted world. Glade is not with her. She seemed wondering about the place.
